Want to plan a last-minute elopement to Paris?
With Ceremonize, everything is possible!
This was the story for Lisa and Mark. The American couple contacted us just fifteen days before their elopement, which took place on the 24th April 2016.
Whilst in the final stages of planning their US wedding with their family and friends, Mark came up with a crazy idea – what if he and Lisa were to escape to Paris after their wedding reception, just the two of them?
Clearly Lisa didn’t have to think twice, so the plan was put in motion! They would be arriving in Paris in fifteen days.
After opting for the package our wedding planner agency suggested, the couple left us to iron out the small but important details – the bridal bouquet, hairdresser, makeup artist, transportation, and of course the ceremony itself.
The couple knew exactly what they wanted, which meant that everything was planned in just a few short emails.
We met the couple on the day they arrived in Paris, the day before their elopement ceremony. We ran through the day together and explained everything that was going to happen, a little like a rehearsal.
Then, we finally came to the day itself. After getting ready in the peace and quiet of their hotel, the couple’s car – a beautiful white Citroën Traction Avant – awaited them. They travelled to Montmartre, where their ceremony took place. Lisa wore her wedding dress beautifully, and completed the look with an elegant bouquet of roses. Mark looked dashing in a navy blue suit.
The couple renewed their vows in a moving elopement ceremony, before taking off with our photographer for a romantic photoshoot in Paris. Their backdrops of choice? The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame de Paris.
It was a beautiful day, filled with memories of the perfect Paris elopement!
