Yes you read well! A & J decided to come in Paris during the New year holiday, for their honeymoon. It’s true that Paris under Christmas spirit is even more romantic. Okay maybe we’re not objectives since we love xmas holidays.
They decided to enhance this moment with a wedding ceremony. On the 31st of december, to finish the year in beauty! Such a great, but freezy experience. It was one of the coldest day of the year! But as we like to say, the sun and the love that surrounded us, helped us warm up.
Here is the interview of A & J, sharing their elopement experience
Why did you decide to come in Paris for your elopement?
I’ve loved Paris since middle school when I took my first French course. Fortunately, my fiancee was on board with making Paris our honeymoon destination. We loved the city, the food, people, culture and the energy. It’s the city of love and what better place than that could you spend your honeymoon!?
Why did you chose Ceremonize to organise it?
The website had a lot of detail and a beautiful photo gallery. I loved the package options and then the additional add on choices to enhance the package. I then found several great reviews from other couples and decided Ceremonize was the one for us.
How was the planning with Virginie, how was the communication ? To organise the ceremony despite the distance?
Planning with Virginie was incredibly easy! She was very responsive and super helpful when we were trying to decide on a location for our ceremony. Even with an ocean between us and many hours in time difference, she made sure our questions were answered. She is truly a pleasure to work with!
How was your wedding day, how did you live it?
Our wedding day was amazing! I had Charles, my hair/make up artist, come to our hotel. He was wonderfully charming and did such an awesome job. I felt like a movie star once he was all done. Once we headed over to the Trocadero gardens, we met with Virginie and the photographer Ludovic Ismael. My bouquet was gorgeous! Better than the photos I had sent of arrangements I liked (my husbands boutonniere was great too!). We did our vows and I loved that she incorporated parts of our questionnaire into them, great touch. After our ceremony we did our photos and words cannot express how impressed I am with them. Ludovic was very easy to work with and you can tell he’s an artist and loves taking photos. All of our family and friends can’t believe how incredible our photos came out (we are not very photogenic people either lol). It was a magical and beautiful day and we won’t forget it.
