Given their long-time love of Paris, it was only natural that Australian couple Jennifer and Scott would decide to hold their intimate symbolic ceremony in the City of Light.
They hired Ceremonize to help them plan their big day, entrusting us with every last detail.
The night before the wedding, we organised a rehearsal dinner on the terrace of the couple’s lovely Parisian hotel. With views out over the Eiffel Tower, the atmosphere was truly magical.
On the morning of the wedding the bride got ready in her hotel room, with a talented hairdresser and makeup artist close at hand.
The wedding ceremony took place in a charming “hôtel particulier” (Parisian town house) rented out for the occasion. The ceremony was traditional, private, and moving; a simple exchanging of vows between the bride and groom.
Immediately following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a cocktail. Champagne, of course! They toasted the couple’s happiness, and feasted on some delicious macarons.
Then, the young couple slipped off to take some photos in the heart of Paris. It was a lovely way to immortalise their wedding day, the two of them in front of some of the most beautiful monuments in the world.
