Small and intimate wedding in Paris

Our next couple, Tracie and Scott, decided to get married in Paris. The couple wanted to invite around thirty guests for their romantic and symbolic destination wedding.

To make their guests’ trip even more special, the couple planned a two-day programme. First of all, they had organised a rehearsal dinner aboard a Parisian river boat. Unfortunately, serious flooding meant the Seine was closed off, so the couple needed to find a Plan B, stat! They ended up hosting their dinner in a nice Parisian restaurant.

The big day began with some preparations: a hairdresser and makeup artist came directly to the couple’s hotel to beautify the bride and her guests.

Then, they set off to their wedding ceremony, which took place in a charming hotel particulier (town house) in the heart of Paris. The entire agency team was on hand to set up chairs and iron out any final details.

The guests were welcomed by the groom and a wonderful musical accompaniment. Then came the bride, who was walked down the aisle by her father, with a beautiful Spring bouquet in hand. Our team started the entrance music before letting this touching moment unfold. The couple wanted a simple, no-frills ceremony. In a rather modest gesture, they didn’t wish to write their own vows but rather they made an exchange of consent.

Then came the big kiss, followed by a joyful journey back down the aisle as man and wife. The couple headed to a cocktail reception with their guests, where a champagne toast took place. Then came a photo session with all the guests, which was fun for all involved.

A small studio had been set up for the guests with little pebbles for them to write a message for the bride and groom. It was an original guest book idea, providing the couple with lots of sweet trinkets.

The cocktail reception came to an end, and the couple’s chariot arrived. A beautiful white Citroën Traction Avant brought Tracie and Scott on a private photo tour of Paris, just the two of them.

Then, everybody gathered at a restaurant for the wedding dinner. They enjoyed a traditional French meal before tucking into a beautiful wedding cake topped with stunning French patisseries.

When they came out of the restaurant, another surprise was waiting…a private tour! The day ended in style, with an exclusive bus taking the guests on a leisurely trip around Paris to see the sights.

It was a pleasure to help this lovely couple throughout their planning period.

Tracie and Scott opted for our special ceremony package, which includes everything you need to hold your wedding ceremony. They also chose some extra add-ons, including a hairdresser, makeup artist, transportation, and wedding cake, as well as accepting our help in choosing the venues for their ceremony, rehearsal dinner, and wedding dinner.
