On August 9th, D&R said I do in a unique and intimate wedding. As lovers of island life, they choose “exotic” as their theme. Ceremonize were thrilled to help them plan their wedding in Paris.
A small wedding with an outdoors service and a beautiful colour scheme – that was our lovers’ request! After taking the time to find their perfect wedding venue, the couple finally decided to celebrate their wedding in a gorgeous garden in the heart of the Vallée de Chevreuse near Paris.
Civil wedding
After their civil ceremony, the couple wanted to mark the start of their married life with a balloon release.
The Ceremonize team organised the preparation and distribution of orange, fuchsia and turquoise balloons, which guests released as the happy couple walked out of the town hall. The launch was timed perfectly with D&R’s first married kiss.

An original way to travel
Beep beep! The bridal car has arrived!
Our couple wanted a car that recalled the joy of holidaying, while also allowing several guests to travel along with them. This minibus was perfect! We loved its unique style.
Wedding venue
The ceremony took place in a beautiful garden.
Rows of white chairs were delicately decorated with beautiful floral arrangements. Flower wreaths and pearls hung from trees, and the couple’s vows were uttered against a simply gorgeous backdrop. The attention to detail was impeccable – small ribbons were embroidered with the couple’s names and placed on guests’ chairs so that they could wave them as the couple walked down the aisle together. Our team planted incense sticks in the ground before the ceremony, which infused the venue with the smell of, well, paradise!
Inside the wedding venue, a flower curtain opened up onto a flower-filled reception room, filled with orange orchids in bamboo vases, atop crisp white tablecloths and decorated with turquoise ribbons. The wedding favours were located at the back of the room: beautiful baskets filled with all the flavours and smells of the Caribbean. These beautiful decorations were conceived of by our talented team designer, Pingsy.
Wedding Cake
Last but not least, D&R chose an incredible tropical wedding cake and cupcake tower. Dotted with white flowers and silver pearls, these succulent treats were infused with island flavours – coconut, mango, and vanilla. We were all salivating!
