How to get married in France ?

To get married in France means that your civil wedding and/or your religious wedding is done in France.

Celebrate your wedding in France means that you’re already married in your country and that you want to gather your family and friends in France for a symbolic wedding ceremony in a nice place.

The civil wedding in France at the hall town (mairie) is allowed if only the bride or the groom has lived in France for at least 40 days before the wedding.

The religious wedding requires a civil wedding before. You can get civily married in your country and then be religiously married in France.

The symbolic wedding ceremony has no legal value but is as moving and beautiful than a religious ceremony. And you are free to do exactly what you want : outdoor ceremony, ceremony in a castle (which is not possible with a religious ceremony)
